Saving Wasatch Wildlife
Wasatch Wildlife Conservation Center is committed to protecting Utah's native wildlife while promoting sustainable human-wildlife interactions. We provide rescue and wildlife rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife in Utah and offer sanctuary to non-releasable wildlife. Through education and community outreach, we inspire and empower individuals to become stewards of Utah's natural heritage, ensuring the long-term survival of our native species for generations to come.
Our Story
WWCC began as a modest wildlife rehabilitation clinic in Park City, Utah, initially focusing on the delicate care of injured and orphaned hummingbirds. Through our specialized work with these tiny, vulnerable creatures, we witnessed firsthand the increasing challenges facing Utah's wildlife due to habitat loss, climate change, and human expansion. Our intimate experience with these remarkable birds opened our eyes to the broader needs of wildlife conservation throughout our state. What started as a small operation dedicated to hummingbird rehabilitation has evolved into a comprehensive wildlife advocacy organization, working tirelessly to protect and preserve Utah's diverse wildlife species and their habitats. Our unique beginning with hummingbirds continues to inspire our approach to wildlife conservation, reminding us that even the smallest creatures play a vital role in our ecosystem and deserve our protection.
Our Vision
The future of Wasatch Wildlife Conservation Center is a state of the art Conservation Center with wildlife hospital, wildlife sanctuary, and nature center that will serve as a beacon for conservation, wildlife rehabilitation, sustainable tourism and environmental education. WWCC will have far reaching economic benefits for the local economy through tourism and job creation. We are currently looking at available sites for development and hope to be in our new location within 2 years. For more information, please contact our CEO,
