About the event
The addition of a Raptor Flight Enclosure at the Wallin Barn at Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter represents a crucial expansion of our Wildlife Clinic's rehabilitation capabilities. This specialized facility will serve as a vital final step in the recovery process for injured birds of prey, allowing us to properly assess their flight abilities and ensure they are fully prepared for release back into the wild. The enclosure will also provide essential exercise space for our ambassador raptors, contributing to their overall health and well-being. We're excited to announce that once our fundraising goals are met, we'll be hosting a community construction day in early December at the Wallin Barn at Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, offering a unique opportunity for local residents to directly contribute to wildlife conservation efforts in our area. The total cost of this vital project is $12,500. We are currently accepting donations for this important project.
